Just because of this Rajasthan have many forts which have been converted to a luxurious resort. These resorts have many facilities and provide the taste of royalty and live life like king size to the tourist from all over the world and provide them with a gesture of Indian tradition and how to welcome them in Indian style. There are various historical places in Rajasthan like
1. Amer Fort
Amer Fort which is located few kilometres away from Jaipur it is well known for it for his history and left the visitors spellbound with the art and architecture that has been endowed to it. There are many places in a fort like Diwan-I-Aam and Diwan-I-Khaas along with Sheesh Mahal, Jai Mandir and other temples, KesarKyari garden etc. which has been an essential part of the royal society in the past.
2. Umaid Bhawan Fort
UmedBhawan is one of the largest private residential properties that have been listed. It is one of most picturesque monuments in Rajasthan. Its location is quite unique because it is situated on the highest point on the hill, the Chittar hill.
3. Mehrangarh Fort
Mehrangarh Fort is located in Jodhpur also known as Jodhpur Fort. It is India one of the largest forts which were built around 1460 by Rao Jodha. It has various tourist attractions like National geological monument by Geological Survey of India to encourage Geotourism in the country. It is also pilgrims of many devotees to ChamundaMataji Temple where they worship their goddess. Jodhpur fort also contains a famous Desert Rock park that has distinctive volcanic rock formation. It is a distinctive place to visit in Jodhpur.
Museum
Rajasthan has the Archaeological Museum which is located in Amer in Dil-e-AaramGardens, here the sculptures and various glorious material and thing have been collected from the various part of Rajasthan to visualize the glorious past of Rajasthan.
Fort Museum has the great collection of the antique Rajputana weaponry including handguns, daggers, etc. used during earlier times by rulers. It also has many biplanes from World War I and has many pictures and various other domestic items used by various kings and monuments of Rajasthan.
There are many places to explore Rajasthan and get enriched of a taste of royalty. Jodhpur is one most famous city that has been main tourist destination just because of its location at has many nearby destinations which have been visited by tourist from all over the world.
